Quotes, proposals and project scope
Website prices and package descriptions are starting points unless expressly stated otherwise. A project becomes binding when scope, deliverables, price and applicable payment terms are confirmed. Work outside agreed scope may require a revised quotation, change request or additional fee.
Payments
Deposits, instalments and final payments are governed by the applicable quotation, invoice or written agreement. Amounts must be paid by their stated due dates unless otherwise agreed. Domains, hosting, premium software, licences, payment-provider charges, advertising spend and other third-party/pass-through costs may be billed separately where not expressly included.
Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate instructions, approvals, content, product information, credentials and materials reasonably needed for delivery, and must have the rights or permissions required for content they supply. Client delays may affect timelines.
Revisions, cancellations and changes
Included revisions and cancellation/refund arrangements are determined by the applicable proposal or agreement. Material changes to an approved direction, new functionality or additional deliverables may constitute additional scope. Amounts already earned or committed to third-party costs may be non-refundable where lawful and agreed.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Mmaps Tech retains its pre-existing tools, methods, reusable code, frameworks and know-how. Rights in final deliverables are determined by the applicable project agreement and may be conditional on full payment. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their respective licences.
Third-party platforms and services
Projects may rely on WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting, domain registrars, payment gateways, email services, APIs, analytics, advertising or other third-party platforms. Their availability, pricing, policies and functionality are controlled by those providers and can change independently of Mmaps Tech.
Delivery, maintenance and support
Timelines depend on scope, client feedback, third-party dependencies and timely access to required materials. Maintenance, hosting, content updates and ongoing support are included only where expressly agreed.
Communications
Transactional communications needed for enquiries, projects, accounts, referrals or security may be sent as necessary. Optional promotional communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. See our Privacy Policy.
Referral Partner Programme
Participation in the Mmaps Tech Referral Partner Programme is additionally governed by the Referral Partner Terms & Conditions. Those programme-specific terms govern referral attribution, eligibility, commission, fraud review and withdrawals. If they conflict with these general website terms on a referral-programme matter, the programme-specific terms apply to that matter.
Warranties and limitation of liability
We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, Mmaps Tech is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, third-party outages, third-party platform changes, misuse of delivered systems or problems caused by changes outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by South African law. Project-specific written agreements may contain additional or different provisions and take priority for that project where they conflict with these general terms. Questions: admin@mmapstech.co.za.
