Referral Partner Terms & Conditions

1. Joining the programme

You must register for a Referral Partner account, provide accurate information, verify your email and accept the current Referral Partner Terms and Privacy Policy before participating. Each approved account receives a unique referral code. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and must not sell, transfer or share account access.

2. Eligible referrals

A referral must be a genuine introduction of a prospective Mmaps Tech client and must be attributable to your registered partner account or valid referral code. Unless Mmaps Tech approves otherwise in writing, self-referrals, fabricated referrals, duplicate claims, existing Mmaps Tech clients, and prospects already recorded as active Mmaps Tech leads are not eligible for commission.

3. Referral attribution

Mmaps Tech generally attributes a prospect to the first valid referral recorded in its systems, provided the prospect was not already an existing client or active lead. Referral codes are validated server-side and attribution may be locked after capture. Where referrals conflict, Mmaps Tech may review timestamps, contact information, existing lead records and other reasonable evidence before deciding attribution. A later submission does not automatically override an earlier valid referral.

4. Commission

For an eligible successful referral, commission is 10% of qualifying project revenue actually received by Mmaps Tech. An unpaid quote, proposal, invoice or promise to purchase does not create commission. Commission becomes available only after Mmaps Tech confirms referral eligibility and the relevant qualifying payment.

Example: qualifying project revenue of R12,825 actually received by Mmaps Tech produces a commission of R1,282.50.

5. Amounts excluded from the commission base

Unless Mmaps Tech expressly confirms otherwise in writing, the commission base excludes VAT or similar taxes, refunds, chargebacks, reversals, credits, amounts not actually received, and pass-through or third-party costs such as advertising spend, domains, hosting, licences, payment-provider charges or other costs paid onward to third parties. Future projects, renewals, maintenance, recurring charges or additional work for the same referred client do not automatically create further commission unless Mmaps Tech expressly designates them as qualifying revenue.

6. Earnings and withdrawals

Your dashboard may distinguish pending, available and paid earnings. Only approved available earnings may be requested for withdrawal. Withdrawal requests are accepted during the last 7 calendar days of each month, subject to valid payout details and the programme's security controls. A withdrawal request may move through Requested and Processing before Paid, or may be Declined where it is invalid or requires correction. A Paid withdrawal is final in the ordinary workflow. Processing time after a valid request may depend on banking and administrative processes.

7. Fraud review and prohibited conduct

You must not create fake accounts or leads, refer yourself to obtain a discount, impersonate another person, manipulate referral codes or attribution, submit information you are not permitted to share, interfere with another partner's referrals, attempt to alter commission/withdrawal records, or misuse Mmaps Tech systems. Mmaps Tech may place suspicious referrals under review, withhold commission while a review is unresolved, reject ineligible referrals, suspend accounts and take reasonable action to protect the programme. Fraud-review decisions and material financial actions may be recorded in an audit trail.

8. Referred-person information

When submitting another person's details, you confirm that you are permitted to share those details with Mmaps Tech for the purpose of the referral. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information. Mmaps Tech processes referral and partner information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Tax and your status

Referral Partners participate independently and are not employees, agents or representatives authorised to bind Mmaps Tech. You are responsible for understanding and meeting any tax, disclosure or other obligations that apply to commission you receive. Mmaps Tech may request information reasonably required for lawful payment or recordkeeping.

10. Programme changes, suspension and termination

Mmaps Tech may change, pause or end the programme on reasonable notice where practicable, including to address legal, security, fraud, commercial or operational requirements. Material changes will be published with a new version/effective date and may require renewed acceptance. Ending or suspending participation does not create a right to commission on referrals that were never eligible or never became qualifying paid referrals. Legitimately earned amounts already approved remain subject to applicable payment, fraud, reversal and legal requirements.

11. Questions and disputes

Questions about attribution, commission or withdrawals should be sent to admin@mmapstech.co.za with the relevant referral ID. These terms are governed by South African law. Nothing in them removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
